For a fellow that looks like Rep. Mark Souder, one of the appeals of being a member of Congress may be that his status enables him to sleep with more attractive women. When he finally gives into this temptation though, he risks losing his job.

The irony underlying the Souder affair is that for a fellow that looks like Mr. Souder, one of the appeals of being a member of Congress may be that his status enables him to sleep with more attractive women... except that when he finally gives into this temptation, he risks losing his job and ending up where he started: ugly and powerless.
