The Huffington Post reports:

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell may have "heartened" Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) with his proposal to allow the President make the final call on the debt ceiling, but many conservatives are not pleased.

Among them are the Tea Party Patriots, who filed these statements Wednesday:

“Mitch McConnell’s plan shows plainly he wants to abdicate any responsibility for fiscal matters to the President,” said Mark Meckler, co-founder and national coordinator of the Tea Party Patriots. “We send our representatives in Congress like Sen. McConnell to Washington to represent us and pass legislation that responds to the voters—not to pass the buck off to the Executive Branch.”
