The Hill reports:

President Obama will address the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on Feb. 7 to discuss jobs and the economy, an administration official told The Hill on Wednesday.

"The president will discuss his commitment to growing the economy and making America more competitive and the importance of working together to create jobs," the official said.

The White House and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce have battled over the major issues pushed through by the Obama administration, including healthcare and financial sector reform as well as tax policy.

Obama has been seeking to repair and enhance his reputation and relationship with business groups during the past couple of months. He has met with some of the nation's top chief executives at the White House to work together on growing the economy and convince those business leaders to invest some of their $2 trillion in assets to help with the expansion.
