Fed Reserve Nominee Wins Nobel Prize

Politico reports:

The Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences has been awarded to three economists, including MIT's Peter Diamond, whom President Obama has nominated to the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. The Nobel committee awarded Diamond and the others the prize for "their analysis of markets with search frictions" on unemployment.
