Trump Gets CPAC Speaking Slot

The Donald is set to meet the conservatives.

Donald Trump, the real estate mogul turned reality TV star, is reportedly a surprise late add to CPAC as he seriously weighs a run for the White House. Organizers and his confirmed the speaking slot to the New York Times. Trump will reportedly appear Thursday afternoon, though his name hadn't yet been added to the CPAC agenda online as of early Thursday morning.

Trump adviser Michael Cohen told the newspaper that CPAC is a great forum for revealing his views, and demonstrating that he is indeed serious about running. Trump has often gotten hackles from some political observers for throwing his name into the ring only to pull back, as he's teased campaigns before.
