There's Something in the Water

At two recent dinners, President Obama has toasted his guests with water. This is a bit puzzling to those of us who think the only reason to put on a tuxedo is for the high-priced alcohol that usually ensues.

This is a bit puzzling to those of us who think the only reason to put on a tuxedo is for the high-priced alcohol that usually ensues.

But after further thought, I was not surprised by the president’s toasting preference.  Remember, Obama promised the “planet will begin to heal” at his inauguration, It must disappoint him that the water in his glass did not turn into wine.
