The Tea Party Breaks From the GOP
The Tea Party is its own political entity, separate from the Republican Party. I know this because a web-ad tells me so:
See that? A Gadsden flag next to a Republican elephant and Democratic donkey. If there was ever any doubt that the Tea Party movement has been successful in branding itself as something different from the Republican Party, this might be it. Its an impressive achievement for a two-party system.
