Second Woman Surfaces in Weinergate

The New York Times reports:

Representative Anthony D. Weiner, a Queens Democrat already under fire because of an online episode involving a young female college student who followed him on Twitter, may be facing even more trouble.

The conservative Web site Big Government reported on Monday that it had been contacted by a woman who said she had exchanged intimate photos and online communications with Mr. Weiner.

The report did not identify the woman or provide information about the woman’s relationship with Mr. Weiner, who aggressively uses social media to communicate with constituents and supporters.

In Monday’s report, Andrew Breitbart, who runs the Web site, said that it would be providing further details throughout the day, including photographs and timelines.

Mr. Weiner’s spokesman has not responded to telephone and text-message requests for comment.

The report comes days after Mr. Weiner, a leading potential mayoral candidate, tried to contain a controversy that was touched off after a college student in Washington State received a suggestive photo from his Twitter account.
