Russian Plane Crash Kills 40

The Huffington Post reports:

Russian news agencies are reporting 40 people have been killed in a passenger jet crash in northwestern Russia.

RIA Novosti and Interfax say the plane crash landed on a highway en route to the city of Petrozavodsk from Moscow, according to Emergencies Ministry officials.

They say eight people who survived the crash are hospitalized in critical condition.
