Perry Camp: 'No Intention' of Running

The National Journal reports:

Shortly after reports surfaced suggesting that Gov. Rick Perry of Texas is considering a potential presidential bid in 2012, his spokesman said he's not.

"Nothing has changed," Mark Miner told National Journal in an e-mail. "The governor has no intention of running for president."

Miner's statement came after the governor sparked a flurry of renewed media speculation over his intentions by telling Austin reporters who asked him about a presidential race: "I'm going to think about it."

Said Miner in his e-mail: "The governor thinks about a lot of issues."
