Paul Visits Iowa
Politico reports:
Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) may be looking to reignite the grass-roots movement that propelled his 2008 presidential campaign with a trip to the first-in-the-nation caucus state of Iowa later this month.
Paul will address students, staff and faculty at the University of Iowa on Oct. 29 in Iowa City, reports the Iowa City Press-Citizen.
The trip will be Paul’s third to the Hawkeye state this year.
Paul has indicated he is open to the prospect of another presidential run but said he will not make his decision until next year. He won the straw poll at February’s Conservative Political Action Conference and has polled well in several early presidential primary surveys.
