Obama's Approval Slips Among Jews

Politico reports:

Obama's approval numbers have fallen among almost every group, and the drop in any group's figures should be seen first in the broader economic context.

And that's probably the main factor at play in the annual American Jewish Committee survey, out today, which finds Obama's approval rating down at 51% to 44% disapproval, and finds that the approval of his Israel policy has ticked down five points to 49% from last year's survey -- though a majority (above) still back Obama's approach.

They didn't ask the more general approval question last year; two years ago in September, Jews were leaning Obama 57% to 30%, and exit polls gave him 77% of their votes, a pretty typical Democratic number.
