Obama Invites GOP Leaders to Lunch
The Hill reports:
President Obama will host the House GOP's three top leaders for lunch at the White House on Wednesday.
Press secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) will join the president Wednesday afternoon."The president looks forward to discussing all issues foreign and domestic," Gibbs said.
Gibbs said the conversation will have a "heavy" focus on the economy and spending.
