Obama: I didn't violate War Powers Act
U.S. President Barack Obama said on Wednesday his administration's actions on Libya do not violate the War Powers Act and that it has consulted repeatedly with Congress on the operation.
"Throughout this process, we consulted with Congress. We've had 10 hearings on it. We've sent reams of information about what the operations are," he told a news conference.
Obama also said the "noose is tightening" around Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi. (Reporting by Patricia Zengerle, Alister Bull and Jeff Mason)
