No Signs is a Bad Sign for Giannoulias
Judging by the lawn signs in my general vicinity here in the swinging Illinois 10th congressional district, there is tepid support for GOP Senate candidate Rep. Mark Kirk but absolutely NONE for his Democratic opponent Alexi Giannoulias.
Not a single lawn sign for blocks and blocks and blocks for the Dem, while the diehard Republicans (yours truly and one other elderly neighbor on the block) have their Kirk signs out.
This is, to be clear, a neighborhood where people were proud to say their split their votes in 2008, going for Obama but also backing Kirk as their representative.
