McMahon "Happy" with Tamer WWE
Politico reports:
Connecticut Republican Senate nominee Linda McMahon says she likes World Wresting Entertainment a little tamer than it was when she ran the company.
ABC’s Christiane Amanpour asked the former WWE CEO if she was comfortable with a video that shows McMahon’s husband ordering a woman in a wrestling ring to get down on all fours and “bark like a dog.”
“Well. WWE programming has changed from being TV14 over the years, which that's the time you were talking about. It was called the Attitude Era,” McMahon said in an interview aired Sunday on ABC's “This Week.”
Now, she said, the content is rated PG. “I'm happy with the content today,” she said.
