McKinnon: Obama's Mosque Stance is "Bold"
Former Bush strategist Mark McKinnon has described President Obama's stance on the Cordoba Institute as"bold":
I emailed former George W. Bush adviser and strategist Mark McKinnon this morning about President Obama's speech, prior to the Florida clarifier, and this is what he wrote back:
"This strikes me as bold and decisive leadership. Obama didn't have to wade in on this issue, but my guess is he just thinks its the right and important thing to do and damn the consequences. And funny thing is, when Presidents act on principle, the politics tend to work out."
