Keeping Terror Trials at Gitmo

Rep. Tom Rooney (R-FL) just introduced a bill that would require that detainees held at Guantanamo Bay be tried in military commissions using the courtroom facility built at Guantanamo.

Tom Rooney (R-FL) just introduced a bill that would require that detainees held at Guantanamo Bay be tried in military commissions using the courtroom facility built at Guantanamo.  They have a brand new courtroom down there that was built for military commissions and would save the government millions from transferring these detainees to other facilities in the U.S.
