Politico reports:

The agency that monitors nuclear energy around the world says it has been given new evidence that Iran is working to develop nuclear weapons.

Just as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a speech to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday warning about the Iranian threat, the Associated Press and Reuters both reported that the International Atomic Energy Agency has received more information suggesting that Iran’s secret military nuclear program is steaming ahead despite efforts to shut it down.

A forthcoming report from the IAEA that includes evidence that Tehran has continued to stockpile low-enriched uranium even as the international community has stepped up its pressure against Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s regime, according to the reports.

In the report, the IAEA said it was still assessing “further information related to such possible undisclosed nuclear-related activities” as member states provided evidence suggesting that Iran has continued its nuclear program.
