GOP Candidates Won't Follow Beck To Israel
A rally in Israel hosted by conservative provocateur Glenn Beck won't have in attendance some of the Republican presidential candidates that it had reportedly snagged.
Representatives for former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (R) and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) denied strong>a report by Ynetnews< that they would be among the Republican figures to attend Beck's August rally in Israel.
"We haven't received an invite and haven't considered it," said Gingrich spokesman Joe DeSantis. "So what I can say is that we have not RSVP'd."
Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul simply replied "no" when asked if the Republican frontrunner would be attending.And former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R), a former potential candidate,strong>also said on Twitter< that he wasn't attending.
