FrumForum Responds to Technical Requests
Last December, we asked members of the FrumForum community what changes they would want to see on the site from a technical perspective. While we are currently ironing out a few details, I am proud to say that we have completed the first phase of this project.
1. You can now subscribe to the RSS feeds of your favorite authors, as well as specifically for the "Scroll" and "Featured" stories. You will no longer have to feel obligated to subscribe to a massive RSS list that includes all the news items we put up in a day!
2. Comments have been improved. You can now bold, italicize, underline, and put your comments in quote boxes. You can also upload pictures, and it should now be easier to navigate the comment pages as well. We have also uploaded a "like/dislike" feature to try and give the community some control over its members, so hopefully it will be self-policing. We will see how this goes.
3. Style sheets have also been fixed. There should now be more space between the text and the side of your monitor, and printing an article should also not cause the comments to print out with it.
We of course have more things in the pipeline and are always interested in hearing your suggestions and concerns. Please comment about further changes you want to see below, or email me at
