Fiorina Won't Apologize for Mocking Boxer's Haircut

Dave Weigel reports that Carly Fiorina will not apologize to Barbara Boxer for her comments mocking her haircut.

I don't think any of us expected the "year of the Republican woman" to begin with one of the party's best prospects, California U.S. Senate nominee Carly Fiorina, making fun of Sen. Barbara Boxer's (D-Ca.) hair. But it did -- Fiorina, waiting for a TV hit, quoted an aide who "saw a Barbara Boxer briefing on television this morning and said what everyone says: God, what is that hair? Sooo yesterday." She stopped herself, apparently aware that the mic was picking her up.

And yet asked about this last night on Greta Van Susteren's Fox News show, Fiorina passed on a chance to apologize.
