Washington Post reports:

President Obama is headed back to Silicon Valley. The White House announced Tuesday that the president will hold a town hall meeting at Facebook’s headquarters in Palo Alto, Calif. on April 20.

The president has been seen a lot with top tech companies and executives, particularly as he promotes his initiative to “win the future.”

In February, Obama met with several elite members of the tech community at a dinner in Woodside, Calif. Guests included an all-star lineup of chief executives from Apple, Yahoo, Google and Facebook.

Obama and his administration have been active about using social media and Facebook in particular, with many of its initiatives. The latest instance, of course, was Obama’s declaration that he will run for a second term, an announcement he made via YouTube..

The White House partnered with Facebook on an anti-bullying initiative last month. Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg sits on the president’s council on jobs and competitiveness. And there have been rumors that Obama’s former press secretary, Robert Gibbs, is considering taking a position at Facebook.
