Cornyn: "Angle's Going to Win"
Politico reports:
The chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee said on Sunday that Nevada Republican Senate candidate Sharon Angle, a tea party favorite, will knock off Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on Nov. 2.
“Sharon Angle’s going to win that race. I’ll make that prediction right here, right now,” Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) said on "Fox News Sunday," in answering a question about whether Angle's nomination made the race harder for Republicans to win.
Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill, appearing with Cornyn on Fox, called the Democratic senator from Nevada "a nice guy who's had a really tough job" and said the race will be "a fight to the end."
