The Wall Street Journal reports:

With his lead shriveling, Pennsylvania’s Republican Senate candidate, Pat Toomey, needs only to look at his resume to find possible salvation.

The past president of the conservative political action committee Club For Growth will get $1 million in advertising from his former employer.

“Yes, Joe Sestak served honorably in the Navy. His service in Congress is the problem. Sestak voted for Obama’s $700 billion stimulus, and unemployment rose. With Nancy Pelosi, Sestak backed the mortgage bailout, and the deficit swelled. Like Harry Reid, Sestak favors an energy tax that would kill jobs here. Joe Sestak: just another liberal,” the Club For Growth ad intones.
