Calling the book "well-written and interesting," Clinton recommended the read to "people of all political stripes" and said it would provide a window into why he was fond of the former Republican leader despite the political differences between the two. "George W. Bush also gives readers a good sense of what it's like to be president, to take the responsibilities of the office seriously, do what you think is right, and let history be the judge," the statement said, according to the Associated Press.
