Car Crashes on Bush's Lawn
Politico reports:
Former President George W. Bush had an unexpected and unwanted pre-Christmas surprise Wednesday night when a car crashed on the lawn of his suburban Dallas home.
Though officials initially classified the incident as an “executive threat” that summoned the attention of more than a dozen police cars, police and Secret Service officers concluded that the crash was accidental.
“President and Mrs. Bush are OK, ” said David Sherzer, a Bush spokesman, in a statement. “They appreciate the work of the United States Secret Service and Dallas Police Department in responding to the incident.”
