Cantor: Spending Bill Will Pass Thurs

The Hill reports:

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) said on Tuesday that the House will pass the 2011 spending bill on Thursday with "strong Republican support."

At a pen and pad briefing, Cantor noted his frustration with the deal struck last Friday to cut $39.9 billion in spending from current levels but he said it was the "best deal" that Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) could get.
