Bob Dole Out of Hospital
USA Today reports:
Former Republican presidential candidate Bob Dole was briefly hospitalized this week and has now been released.
Amy Walter of ABC News posted on her Twitter account that a Dole spokesman confirmed to her that the former Senate GOP leader is no longer at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
The Topeka Capital-Journal reported today that Dole, 87, had been readmitted to Walter Reed, where he spent much of last year recuperating from pneumonia following knee surgery.
Heather Anderson, communications director for the Dole Institue of Politics at the University of Kansas, told the Topeka newspaper that "we don't have any reason to believe it is anything serious."
