Bloomberg Approval Hits New Low
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has hit his lowest approval rating in eight years, according to a new poll.
In a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday, New York City voters disapproved of the job the three-term mayor is doing, 51 to 39 percent. The numbers are the lowest for Bloomberg since his approval was rated at 51 percent in 2003.
Recently, Bloomberg faced criticism for his administration's response after a round of snowstorms pummeled the city.
Asked how the Bloomberg administration handled the clean-up, 69 percent of respondents in the poll said the job was "not so good" or "poor.
