AZ Dems to Palin: Don't Move Here
Arizona Democrats don't want Sarah Palin moving to their state anytime soon.
In a fundraising letter to supporters, the Arizona Democratic Party slammed the former Republican Alaska governor citing a report that her team is considering the Grand Canyon State as a home for her 2012 presidential campaign headquarters.
"Help us send a strong message that Arizona should not be a stepping stone for extremist politicians and their radical agendas," the letter said.
Wednesday Politico reported Palin is eyeing Scottsdale, Arizona for a possible campaign shop.
The former GOP vice presidential candidate spent time in Arizona during the last presidential election with her former running mate Republican Sen. John McCain of Arizona and her daughter, Bristol, recently purchased a house in nearby Maricopa.
But in the message to supporters, the Democratic group issued a rallying call, saying 2012 will be an "important year for Arizona, and it starts now."
