Alleged Libyan Rape Victim at Home With Family
Eman al-Obeidy, the woman who said she was raped by forces loyal to Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi, is no longer in government custody and has spent time with family in Tripoli, she told CNN.
As recently as Saturday, al-Obeidy's father said he had no idea where she was.
She has not been seen publicly since she burst into a Tripoli hotel on March 26 as international journalists were having breakfast, showing them bruises and claiming she had been held for two days during which she was raped by 15 men. Officials loyal to Gadhafi took her away from the hotel.
